Former Leicester and England back Leon Lloyd, a member of last year's first-ever Legends team, will be back for more at the 2010 Castle Cape Town Tens at Hamilton's this coming weekend.

Lloyd will join the likes of Timmy Horan, Damian Smith, Jeremy Paul, Pat Howard, Eric Miller and Zak Feaunati in a star-studded International Legends line-up at the Tens and he revealed that he did not have to think for long before accepting the invitation to come back to Cape Town.

"It took me a second (to make up my mind) - I'm gagging for some sun," Lloyd told capetowntens.com.

"Seriously though, I had a cracking time last year, but I honestly believe that the Cape Town Tens will go on to become a huge, huge event on the (rugby and social) calendar.

"I've been involved in Tens tournaments across the world and I have no doubt this event can easily match and eventually take over from a popular tournament like the Dubai Tens - especially with the calibre of people involved like Fleckie and Bob," he added.

"Rob and Bob are two very popular members of the world rugby community and people will happily buy into anything they are involved with."

Lloyd, of course was the assistant manager for the Legends team last year - backing up ex-All Blacks prop Kees Meeuws; who, despite his obvious failings as the Legends team manager, still rates himself as one of the better managers around.

Thirty-two-year-old Lloyd chuckled: "It's a shame Kees won't be back this year - but he didn't exactly run the tightest ship last year!

"At least Zak will be knocking about again, although he doesn't really talk to me much these days since becoming a big movie star... You know, if it wasn't for me, Zak wouldn't have landed that role in Invictus, but maybe Clint Eastwood and co. will be out 'shopping' for some more potential movie stars this year... so who knows?!"

Lloyd and the rest of his International Legends teammates will take on an SA Legends team at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday afternoon as part of the Cape Town Rugby Festival - ahead of the 2010 FIFA World Cup later this year.

The International Legends will compete in the Veterans League at the 2010 Castle Cape Towns.

Lloydy - I hope 'Invictus' Feaunati is allowed to join us in the beer tent now that he's a celeb and all...
